Veteran Focused Arts Healing Hearts
with Faith Ward

December 3rd to February 4th, no class 12/24 or 12/31
8-week program | $190 non-members $175 members
- Financial Aid available for Veterans – contact marie@workshop13.org
Art activities, such as mask-making, painting, sculpting, and creative journaling will help to surface some of the underlying stressors and feelings that participants may be dealing with. As a sacred & safe space for sharing, this group will delve into the symbolism of the colors and images used as they begin to connect emotion to experience and finally see what is revealed. Healing arts help participates develop something concrete and tangible explain and process the invisible injuries related to their experiences.
We will work in a variety of mediums and any experience level is welcome. The last day of the workshop will include an Art show for family & friends.
NOTE: Though this program may be therapeutic, it is not clinical trauma therapy or formal art therapy.
