Looking for something fun to do with your family, friends, or co-workers? Book our studio for a private class or workshop at ClayWorks Community Ceramics studio! Your group plus 1-2 of our staff in the studio.
Play With Clay | Up to 5 people for a private 3hr crash course in wheel throwing! You will make 2 bowls that we will glaze and fire for you to pick-up at a later date. This is a great activity to do with family, friends, or co-workers! $250. Kids under 7yrs old will need to work with a parent on a wheel or do hand-building.
Wheel Throwing or Hand Building| Up to 5 people for a private 9-week wheel throwing and/or hand-building course. This 9-week course combines students of varying levels who want to learn or improve their current skills. Beginners will learn basic fundamental shapes that can be turned into bowls, plates, mugs, vases, and more. Those comfortable with basic throwing techniques will focus on more complex forms, glazing, and surface design techniques. Week 1-6 is construction, no class week 7 while pieces are bisqued, week 8 is glaze week, week 9 is pick-up and critique. Includes 25lbs of clay, the firing of your work, and access to 9hrs of open studio time each week. $310 per person
