Tory has performed on local stages for 25 years, beginning as a child in regional theater productions at Mount Wachusett Community College. After graduating from Burncoat High School’s arts magnet program, he spent nearly a decade playing stages in Cambridge and Boston, where he also hosted a weekly open mic and headlined a Friday night showcase at a downtown bar. After his years in the big city, Tory moved to Petersham, Mass, to be closer to his grandmother. He co-founded the Petersham Jams, a regional musicians talent showcase. His songwriting influences include Wilco, Counting Crows, The Kinks, Barenaked Ladies, Ben Folds, and too many others to name. Tory lives in Worcester and looks forward to the day when he can sing and shout at the top of his lungs to a room full of strangers.
