This winter, we will continue our study of influential women in art from the Renaissance to today! During this 9 week session, students will be complete projects in mediums such as charcoal, oil painting, felt making and mixed media.
This program combines art history with projects inspired by master artists, and the principles and elements of design. Instructors encourage creativity, perseverance and confidence. In the Masters in the Morning program, students will develop an artful eye, and learn new skills that will help them better express themselves. This program is for those students looking to improve their skills and knowledge. We value the process of making art rather than focusing on the end product, however our students are producing some pretty amazing pieces of art! We use only quality materials, and the classes are taught by professional artists and experienced teachers.
At the end of each session, friends and family are invited to an art exhibit where students will be encouraged to share, present, or demonstrate what they have learned.
