Learn to paint one of the most mystifying subjects of landscape painting. Through a series of class exercises you will learn to paint both from observation and imagination. All students will leave this class with their own beautiful painting and a solid understanding of clouds and skies.

MATERIALS LIST:

2 canvases, 8 x 10
Oil or Acrylic paint: Cadmium Red, Cadmium Yellow, Cobalt Blue, Titanium White, Ivory Black.
(if using oil paint) turpentine or mineral spirits and a jar, for cleaning
Synthetic brushes in a variety of shapes and sizes, including medium sized soft brushes.
1 large Palette or disposable palette paper
1 palette knife
several sheets of tracing paper, 8×10 or larger
1 stick of vine or soft charcoal
2 fine point pens, different colored ink
