Silver Jewelry Making Workshop

Saturday, July 13th, 10am-4pm
Instructor: Bevlynn Gallant
$125 Non-Member/ $100 Member (includes a $35 materials fee)

In this one day class you will learn how to make pure silver jewelry without hammering or soldering. We will use Precious Metal Clay (PMC®) which is a clay-like material made of extremely tiny particles of pure silver, water and a nontoxic binder. It can be molded, textured, and layered with simple tools to make pendants, earrings, charms and beads. The work is dried and fired in a kiln where the binder is burned away to leave a unique object that is 100% pure silver.  You will have enough PMC to make 2 pair of earrings and a small pendant. No experience needed to have fun! Bevlynn is a certified PMC (Precious Metal Clay) instructor who originally was a bench jeweler but now works in metal clay and teaches in Western MA.
