CREATIVE STATIONS FOR MINI MAKERS!
Wednesdays, 10 am to 1 pm
$20 per day, however, we offer a pay-what-you-can sliding scale at checkout!
Max 12 students per class. Must register in advance.
Ages 6 to 13yrs. Students will be in two groups, the Mini Makers & the Maxi Makers.
Climb aboard and become an innovator this summer! Weekly challenges in art and science will keep kids sharp and get those creative juices flowing.
July 5th | PAPER MAKING. Learn how to make paper out of fibers, flowers, leaves, and torn paper using a deckle and mold.
July 19th | DENDRIDIC FRACTALS. What are dendrites? Come find out in this cool workshop as we explore alcohol inks & printmaking.
July 26th | WIRE SCULPTURES. In this workshop, we’ll make wire sculptures that balance, hang & stand inspired by the artist Alexander Calder.
August 2nd | POLYMER CLAY CORAL REEF. Make your own clay reef filled with coral, starfish, turtles, anemones, and colorful imaginary creatures!
August 16th| MINI MECHANICS. Our makers will be challenged to make things that move! Flying butterflies, personal spin art machines, and art bots!
