BEGINNER WHEEL THROWING | Thursdays, 6 to 9 pm with David Walulak. This class suits beginners and those who have taken classes but still need help centering and pulling. Class limit 8

INTERMEDIATE WHEEL THROWING | Mondays, 6 to 9 pm with Mary Remington. This class will focus on throwing larger, more exciting forms, and more surface design techniques. This is suitable for students who can center and pull easily, and are looking to further their skills in clay. Class limit 6

Tuition: $310 for 8 classes (9 weeks) +  6hrs of open studio time + 25lbs of clay.

This course combines students of varying levels who want to learn or improve their current skills on the pottery wheel. Beginners will learn basic fundamental shapes that can be turned into bowls, plates, mugs, vases,  and more. Those comfortable with basic throwing techniques will focus on more complex forms, glazing, and surface design techniques. 

Week 1-6 is construction,  no class week 7 while pieces are bisque fired, week 8 is glaze week, week 9 is pick-up and critique party. Includes 25lbs of clay, the firing of your work, and access to 6 hrs of open studio time per week!  Additional clay may be purchased for $55 per 25lb bag, which includes bisque, fire, glaze.
